Asia Argento and Ashton Whitty

Ashton Blaise Whitty was born on the 1st of October, 1995, at Berkeley, California, USA. She is most famous as an actress, having appeared as a character in Choices (2011), The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2004), and Chrissie Mair's Content House.

Asia Argento grew up in Rome Italy. Her family is a group of actors, and she herself has been pursuing both careers. As a young girl the actress began her acting career in Sergio Cittis's Sogni e bisogni. In 1988, she portrayed the lead part in Cristina Comencini's debut feature film Zoo (1988) in addition to well as being part of Michele Soavi's ensemble for The Church (1989). Next, in 1989 she played Nanni Moretti's (also directed by Michele Soavi) daughter, also directed by Michele Soavi in Red Wood Pigeon. Close Friends (written and directed by Michele Placido) was when Asia's acting career really began to take off. Her roles went from young roles to becoming more mature. The movie was well-received during the Cannes International Film Festival. Trauma was the first film she made together with her father. Her mother, Daria Nicoledi is Argento's favourite actor. The film Trauma she played an orexic seeking her parents' murderer. The Phantom of the Opera is her third movie with her Father, which includes Trauma & The Stendhal Syndrome. Asia's dedication and passion for acting has been utilized in the film by Giuseppe Piccioni in Condannato a Nozze. Patrice Chereau directed Queen Margot for which she played a crucial role. Her next collaboration was with Michel Piccoli on Peter Del Monte's Traveling Companion in 1995, which earned her another David di Donatello as well as a Grolla D'oro. In 1994 Asia decided to try her hand at filmmaking and made two short films, Prospettive and Prospettive in 1996, she produced a documentary about her father and, in 1998, she directed a documentary about the the cult director Abel Ferrara, Abel/Asia (1998), which was awarded an award at the Rome Film Festival. Asia debuted as a feature-length director with Scarlet Diva (2000). In the film, she was also the lead actress and wrote the screenplay. The film was released in May 2000 across Italy and around the world. The film was honoured at the Williamsburg Festival in Brooklyn, New York. Anna Lou was born in 2001 after she directed some music videos. In 2002, she appeared in The Red Siren by Olivier Megaton with Jean-Marc Barr and the action thrilledirected by Rob Cohen, with Vin Diesel. Asia is also the author of a number of short stories, which were published in top magazines.
